Christopher Hershkowitz is in the Artist’s Spotlight!

Chris has been sharing his positive energy with Art Connection Studio for two years.  He attends two days a week and participates in multiple studios such as acrylic painting, fiber arts, and illustration. Chris’ favorite art medium to work with is acrylic paint. He likes to use different size palette knives to create colorful abstract landscapes with lots of texture.

Chris had never engaged in art making prior to joining Art Connection Studio. He started with a watercolor medium, where he learned basic application skills and color theory. His pieces were received well by others, and it gave him the confidence to expand his natural talent. Chris is now an accomplished artist, whose art work has been featured in many Art Connection Studio Exhibitions, as well as local Art Venues. Chris stated “ I would like to keep working on my art and making art pieces.”
In his free time, Chris participates in bowling, softball, soccer, and basketball. Most recently, Chris joined the Special Olympics as well.

An art facilitator, at Art Connection Studio, expressed that “Chris creates with an amazing energy that is exhibited in his art. We always look forward to seeing what Chris will create.” Chris’ art has been selected for the invite for Art Connection Studio’s upcoming show on December 4, 2015; Home-where the art Is.
